Savsend (DS cart save backup-er)
Well this is an homebrew app that backs up a original cart save in your PC via WIFI.
It is usefull and and it workes well.
1 You just run it
2 change flashcart with your original game cart when you are asked to
3 press A and the app will give you an IP url
4 go to that url with a browser and direst download your .sav file
Important
it has worked with my all 4 carts.
the .sav files have been send but not completely.
none of them was send 100% (512kB or 256kB exactly)
CycloDS evo has read them correctly and made them 512kB .sav files.
I got them work easily, it is fairly simple!
Download at:
http://gbatemp.net/index.php?download=3927
Tip:
make sure you write the ip given in your DS with "." between the numbers, not ","
it took me a good half hour to understand what was wrong before realising the commas!!!

Re: Savsend (DS cart save backup-er)
Just a note, you need a file server running on the PC for this to work, correct? Looks like you forgot to mention that. Or is it just Savreceive running I'm not sure.
I've got a tiny one used just for this purpose, but I can't remember what it's called at the moment. Shane R. Munroe has a review that includes all the information people will need to do this with the homebrew application "NDS Backup Tool WiFi" (does roms AND save files).
Savsend (and Savreceive) work very similar to the way the "NDS Backup Tool WiFi" works.
