Suggested Templates
I'm still working on one of my own, but if anyone has a specific template that they think would work well, post it here. That way others can use your template to make sure their reviews are structured, and that they haven't missed out any details.
All images and screenshots should probably be ones that you have taken yourself... so if you're writing a review I reckon it would be a good idea to take screenshots of the parts of the game you want to show and to upload them to a file host for your review. A lot better than leeching off another game website and using their images without giving credit.
If we get a few useful templates here, maybe this thread could be stickied? Mine will be posted soon.

Re: Suggested Templates
Or, send me your screenshots, and I'll host them on the site directly.
As for a template, write it how you want. But if you want to follow a template...
Remember these three main points:
Introduction, First Impressions, Post-First Impressions, Gameplay, Graphics, Multiplayer, Final Thoughts.
Sorry it's not more detailed. When I've gotten a couple of reviews done myself, I'll show you how I mean.

Re: Suggested Templates
Those 3 points are definitely a good starting point Even if they don't stick to the rest of the layout, making sure a reviewer covers those will mean it's still worth reading. Cutting it down even more, just "Pros" and "Cons" would be alright, I suppose?

I think they will make the Review even more worth reading.leiger wrote:= Cutting it down even more, just "Pros" and "Cons" would be alright, I suppose?

Re: Suggested Templates
I've just written my first review for the site, on a game/application called World of Sand. It's located here, and has practically everything I thought would be useful in a review - the five points James wanted us to talk about, Pros/Cons, box art, screenshots, a rating system, etc.
