Insanely addictive text-based MMO
I fear the repercussions of adding a link here, it might pull more innocent victims into it's fanbase.
I've been playing this game for years, and can't completely quit playing despite wanting to (it takes up a lot of time)
Guess what game it is, at your own peril.

Hm, could it be Glavna?

Re: Insanely addictive text-based MMO
I just realised that this thread could make me join other addictive games as well
No it's not Glavna, but I'm searching Google now to have a look what it's like. Glavna is a MMORPG, the game I'm talking about is less RPG-like

Why do we have to guess...just tell us and put a nice big 'Warning Addictive Game listed' sign in front of it.

Good idea. Make sure you listen to the warning though
WARNING
Not Intended for Minors
Not Intended for Gamblers
Not Intended for any Sane Individual
Try keeping a two-million-point account under control without losing it all in a war That's what I've got at the moment on worlds 3 and 9 (both locked to new players)
To succeed you need to - understand basic diplomacy, log on regularly (about 25 hours a day will do it)
Okay, for the record, I want a free premium account. So I'll post a link that, if you use this link to join, and choose world 37, I'll get a week of the paid premium account for free if you reach 500 points
Choose north-east by the way.

There is no small 'x' button that I can see. When I hover over the edit button it says "Edit/Delete this post", but can't find any 'x' or 'delete' button on that page either.
edit: Okay, I just posted this and it has a delete button next to the edit one! Looks like I can only delete my most recent post though, so I can't get rid of the one I need to.

I can't find an option for it in the settings, but I can delete posts (and have), and the future moderators should be able to as well.
And Mr. Micx... you don't have to call me Mr. Walker all the time.

Ok, my friend. So, in the furture, users who want a post to be deleted will have to connect you or a mod..jameswalker85 wrote:I can't find an option for it in the settings, but I can delete posts (and have), and the future moderators should be able to as well.

I've chosen my mods. But we need more members before I can hand out promotions!
Re: Insanely addictive text-based MMO
Still got the same old six
People would probably be willing to read the forum and use the tutorials, reviews, etc, but we need a reason for people to register.
I suggest making the whole "website submissions" section visible only to people that are logged in (that way people have to register and log in before they can see what's there and download anything they might want)
For that to work, we need to have more exclusive content that is only on fattass, and need to announce it pretty clear on the forums that there are hidden forums only visible to people logged in.
People aren't going to register just to access something they don't even know about, are they?
EDIT: Got an even better idea. I'm pretty sure that if you look under the settings for each forum james, you will find that you can make Guests able to "view" the forums, if you make it so that they can't "read", "post" or "edit" the forums they will need to log in before accessing it. This way it'll be obvious that they're missing out on something and will make people more likely to register

If Gariscus can hurry up and make up his mind, I can know whether or not to keep playing world 37, or drop it

Takes literally 5 minutes, then there'll be nothing else to do for about 30-60 minutes while things upgrade. If you decide to join a tribe (aka. clan) things get a bit more interesting.
Upgrade timber/clay/iron mines first. You need resources to do anything, and the faster they're produced, the better.

Gariscus, you're not playing TW I see. Game doesn't appeal to everyone anyway, so I wasn't expecting anything major.
